Inspiration
Originally, we were trying out an idea for the Hackathon, but we were getting nowhere. Stuck and stressed, we decided to build a project to lighten the mood on the often stress-inducing Slack website.
What it does
Slackerbot offers several ways to destress in the Slack environment. It allows you to generate an endless stream of images and art, play games, and even tells stories.
How we built it
We build the bot entirely with Python
Challenges we ran into
We ran into challenges into understanding how to interact with Slack's features.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very proud of making a usable bot, that can accomplish many features.
What we learned
We learned how to collaborate and approach a very difficult project framework that we didn't have much prior experience with.
What's next for Slacker Bot
We would like to update some of Slacker Bot's features, and add new ways to take a break from work.
