Inspiration
There has been an increasing number of QR code-related scams, causing monetary losses.
What it does
When a user scans a QR code with our app, it gets stored on our server. Should the QR code be fraudulent, users can report it from their scan history. The number of scans and reports will help us determine a risk score for users to consider whether to proceed with their actions.
How we built it
We used Ionic to build a PWA, and NestJS as a backend.
Challenges we ran into
Debugging countless of bugs.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We somehow got it working.
What we learned
Decoding different types of QR codes in Singapore.
What's next for SnapSnap
