Inspiration
Calgary fines citizens if they do not clear their sidewalks within 24 hours of snowfall. Snow covered sidewalks are dangerous for pedestrians as they can easily slip and fall, and Alberta has been identified as one of the most likely places to get an injury from slipping and falling.
What it does
The Snoomba is a modified roomba that clears and salts snow covered driveways and pathways. Snoomba can be controlled by your smartphone device or can be set to monitor weather conditions and start work autonomously.
How I built it
We modified a roomba so it can drive around, shovel snow, and salt it's path.
