Inspiration
Originating from a personal problem that I faced when I had many limitations in inviting friends to participate in online and offline activities that we could easily do before the covid-19 pandemic when we met for coffee. . Something as simple as getting together to buy the limited Lacoste shoe that the store gave us exclusively, we had to chat a lot and it was also difficult to collect money from the people you wanted to buy with. Meanwhile, I need to make a quick decision before the store sells the offer to someone else. From there, I wanted to create the fastest tool to help individuals or businesses achieve their goals with friends and family.
What it does
We build the fastest way to achieve goals with friends and family. We empower people to create thriving online communities around friends, shared interests, experiences, and passions.
How we built it
I create mobile apps on iOS & Android using React Native for front end, NodeJS and MongoDB for back-end, Twillio for auth, Sendgrid for email, Google cloud platform for VMs, Firebase , and Google Auto ML for model recommendation training and computer vision. Rapyd for payment.

Accomplishments that we're proud of
We ship the prototype out soon. The app design is very nice and fancy. It's the fastest app I have been built so far. Also the hackathon "hack" me to read and implement the Rapyd API faster, much faster than the normal time before.
What we learned
Team works and how to handle the pre-trained model with Pytorch and Tensorflow. Also Rapyd payment API.
What's next for SoCool: Together
We build the fastest way to achieve goals with friends and family. We will publish the app to AppStore (iOS) and Google play store (Android). We also turn this hackathon project into a real company and launch it in San Francisco & Singapore. Some of my friends after using the beta test app, they love it, they tell us that it is very helpful for them and their business during the pandemic time as now in Singapore where the lockdown stop her offline business.
