Inspiration
An interview is the place where you have to prove yourself, demonstrating your fitness for the job both technically and in your soft skills. The first impression with the recruiter determines the candidate's position in the reputed organization, and it should be made within a minute with the confidence and boldness of an individual. Most people fail to do so, and one of the reasons is a lack of socializing with people around them. This makes them more frustrated and lowers their confidence when appearing for an interview. Consequently, they get rejected, even though they possess great technical skills for that job.
Existing methods, like pre-interviews with mentors, are costly and don't yield the desired results. If this problem is solved, many people with great technical skills will not be jobless, and technology growth will flourish.
This can be made possible with cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence to train and assist individuals as their personal mentor.
What it does
We propose an AI-based solution to address this issue and enhance the growth of STEM.
Recruitz (Intelligent Recruitz System) is an AI-powered interview assessment platform that functions as a personal mentor for individuals appearing for interviews. It assists them with mock interviews and provides suggestions to improve their chances of succeeding. Initially, as a user, the candidate must create an account and fill in basic details such as their experience (fresher or working professional), etc.
The mock interview begins with camera and microphone access. It comprises several rounds, including MCQ, Technical round, and HR round, with the choice left to the user. The questions are generated automatically based on the uploaded resume. The system uses audio and video as inputs to assess the candidate, considering factors such as facial expression, eye contact, confidence, clarity, boldness, and other elements. Based on this analysis, a personalized score is generated along with suggestions to improve the overall score. These suggestions are generated by GenAI, which enhances the personal mentor experience.
A dashboard page is available to collect previous assessment scores, providing visual representations of the scores and rankings to engage users in healthy competition. Additionally, users can select courses based on their interests and attend job-based assessments. This system enhances confidence for people attending interviews and helps them prepare efficiently.
How we built it
Developed with MERN stack + python ML. It used the audio and video inputs to analyze the factors by using various algorithms.
