Challenges we ran into
No one on our team had prior JavaScript experience. The back end developers used
Initially we tried to use the Bootstrap framework to make our web page responsive to mobile and tablet devices. Time constraints forced us to cut this from the final implementation
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Figuring out how to do Facebook authentication and using the Google API to look up bars and locate them accurately and using this data to fill in the respective SQL tables.
Being able to set a nice workflow and pace to coding.
What we learned
Claudiu Learned a lot about collaborating with a team whose set of skills had very little overlap. Although he hopes to learn more about backend development later, this was a prime simulation of what it is like to work in a world where your co-workers and you have vastly different skill sets.
What's next for Solo Drinker
Several features we thought we should add: Create a more mobile friendly experience Add a local area map with graphical representation of users locations
