Inspiration

Artists are clearly not happy with the current model. We still have lots of middle men. Distributors, streaming platforms all take their cut. There is no transparency.

What it does

Creates payments automatically directly to artists as users listen to music using lightning payments. Also allow fans to send zaps as tips for artists:

• Artists get paid fairly
• Fans show direct support
• Transparency from the platform ## How we built it Starter design in Replit. Stack is node + express + react. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
• Idea to Prototyping to MVP in very short time.
• Real integration with NWC. ## What we learned
• Balance between user payout and artist reward is very tricky. ## What's next for SonicStream
• Implement artists sign up
• Special types of zaps (tips, signed copies, ownership of music)
