Inspiration
Sound Tag was inspired by my Grandmother who always misplaces her medicine box and searches for it all the time . Nowadays, forgetfulness occurs at Age 30 or even under that .So Sound Tag helps in locating utilities when it unable to recollect the place and as an aid to their memory loss and elderly forgetfulness. It's target users are :-Aging, people suffering from selective Amnesia, Dementia, Alzheimer and other memory related disorders
What it does
- Mr A wants to locate his medicine box but he couldn't recall the last place where he kept it. So he finds it hard . This is where Sound Tag comes in!. With just a sound of snapping Mr A can locate his utility in the given range.
- If Ms P wants to find her car keys ASAP but she has kept it inside her bag/somewhere.She can use Sound tag to easily locate her keys with a Snap. ## How we built it
- The Setup was made by attaching an LM393 sound-detecting sensor which produces signal 3-times at the time of finger-snapping.Mic in the sensor captures the Signals and converts them to raise the Sound The sound is produced by the buzzer
- Arduino UNO holds all the components together which is like the heart of the setup
- Mic in the sensor captures the Signals and converts them to raise the Sound and the sound is produced by the buzzer
Sound Tag Novelty
- Sound Range-The sound is produced with the range of a room or 300m by 200m which his produced from the buzzer
- Installation-The Setup made is compact and easy to install. Since it requires no heavy integration Parts
- Finger Snapping-For a user-friendly approach, we have trained for the snapping sound of fingers. We have restricted the sound to other external harsh sound frequencies
