Inspiration

We were inspired by BeReal. We thought it would be a unique and fun idea to create a BeReal for music.

What it does

The app allows for people to share songs that they think fits a daily prompt with all of their friends

How we built it

We used swift and xcode to create an iOS app. We also used the spotify API.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges using the API and formatting the UX to look good and be functional.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we worked together as a team, and were able to create a working prototype of our idea.

What we learned

We learned a lot about iOS app development, and how to incorporate third-party APIs into our app to increase functionality.

What's next for SoundSocial

We hope to expand the app out and create a more developed backend.
