Inspiration
Our inspiration was a desire to use ESG data to better inform our spending habits. We quickly realized this data is not easily available and is locked behind a paywall.
What it does
Spending Tree is the first bank to integrate its Fusion Fabric Dot Cloud based consumer banking solution with ESG data to provide customers with the ability to optimize their spending based on the Social Responsibility causes they find most important.
How we built it
We built it by collecting data from CSRHub in a manner that complies with their terms and conditions. We then built our web application using Angular.
Challenges we ran into
Our biggest challenge was finding detailed ESG data.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of having a very original idea that is entirely feasible given the right financial resources
