Inspiration
The unnecessary Censorship portion of the Jimmy Kimmel show. While wildly entertaining it also made me realize that YouTube needs a middle ground for censoring videos. Videos that are too explicit require you to sign in (annoying), or they are eventually flagged or taken down for some other reason. Spleek would allow YouTube Uploaders and Users to skirt this problem.

How I built it
We built this application via an Azure web app set up with deployment from GitHub connected to a MySQL database also running on Azure.
Challenges I ran into
JSP errors, some difficulties with the YouTube API, and needing to edit pixelator.js so that it would display the canvas overlay in the right place.

Possibly making it an open source project so that other developers can contribute to it. And spreading the word about it. Chrome extension in the near future
