Inspiration
Pertaining to the educational problems and common occurrence, we decided to tackle the issue of studying and students work in and outside of school
What it does
It's a tutoring/social media type app used for students who have had a previous teacher and wish to tutor or students who are struggling with specific classes.
How we built it
We made the website via Wix, HTML, and JavaScript whilst the application for android was made via android studio.
Challenges we ran into
The original idea and concept took us a while to figure out, and the process of learning new aspects of Android studio was very frustrating and lengthy. Android drivers were not being functional.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have a functional application and a nice looking website. :)
What we learned
A lot of information about android studio such has how to transfer from one layout to another layout screen.
What's next for Splicer
Essentially cleaning it up, giving it some API's and other functions also even the possibility to connect to your school's grading system or Khan academy acquaintance.
