Inspiration

Capchase's proposal for a Battle Royale style game sounded fun to us, so we decided to accept their challenge

What it does

This is a game AI for a player in said Battle Royale.

How we built it

We made a Lua script which includes all of the logic and algorithms we used.

Challenges we ran into

Learning Lua from scratch and usage of math in many features we had considered, as well as tweaks derived from periodic balance changes and internal implementation changes in the SQLillo base functions.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully making a competitive game AI with reasonable winning chances in any given round.

What we learned

We learned a new language and challenged our way of thinking about videogames. Botting versus playing manually are actually very different skills!

What's next for SQLillo Royale AI

Possible efficiency evaluations of the main methods, and some refactoring here and there.
