Inspiration
Students like us typically struggle to find material answers and help online so we want to create a website where we do not have to keep so many tabs open to do school work
What it does
How we built it
We built the pseudo webite using html css and javascript. We do not have much experience anywhere else so we decided to use a simple foundation of html-css. We are beginner coders who have some experince in various coding languages so we figured the most simple and effective way for us to proceed with our project was to stay simple so we stuck with the 3 basic languages.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges we ran into were manpower as well as coding experience. We are very smart when it comes to academically coding but in a practical sense where we need to create a project in real life and present it, that was a different story. We have experience learing html css but applying that knowledge and expeiernce is a different sotry. For what we know and the resources we had I feel we did a decent job of at least displaying what our potential completed project would have looked like
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the fact we are even participating in a hackathon because this is already out of our comfort zone so to dedicate around 30 hours wprking on a single objective was challlgenging yet rewarding
What we learned
We learned that for a hackathon specifically, we should focus on a single goal and make it as expansive as possible. We creating a one for all type project but found it was too dense to actualize within an unreasonable amount of time.
