Inspiration
Google classroom was an inspiration for the project ideas. I also got a lot of news about schools suspending their sessions after the disease outbreak. This serves as an inspiration for me to create a platform that will help in managing this activities without physical intervention.
What it does
It make virtual classes easier for both the students and instructors to manage their classes and assessments. It has a much more user friendly interface which makes it comfortable for users to navigate through the website without having prior knowledge of the website. It presents the grades and academic session progress to the students.
How we built it
I built the project using React, Javascript. I also used styled-components to construct the UI for the project, and implemented the state management using Redux toolkit.
Challenges we ran into
The major challenge I ran into was the time constraints as I am not part of a team. The project idea is quite complex, so it may take a lot of time to build it to perfection. I had to finish the more important aspects of the project to portray our objective within the time constraints.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of the way the project turned out, and the fact that this is my first hackathon. I was able to build this project in a short time frame and I believe that the product has great potential to deliver comfort and solutions to the academic world.
What we learned
During the hackathon, I learned a lot on new design concepts I have not used before. I also learned a lot on how to manage my time on projects and create products faster.
What's next for Study Test
If this mock-up successfully receives a lot of feedbacks, I would like to continue to build the project further and add a lot of features for a real-world use.
