Inspiration

We were inspired to make StudyStreak because we know how stressful it is to be a student. Being a student means having several tasks that need to be done with tight deadlines.

We wanted to create a program that could help students and anyone who has a busy life. We also wanted to "gamify" the learning experience for students; students can collect points, build a study streak, and earn badges as achievements!

What it does

It keeps track of your tasks and helps you stay organized. It also helps students stay motivated to studying by making it fun with our points-to-achievement system.

How we built it

We used HMTL, CSS, and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

We had ran into some merge conflicts while using Git and GitHub.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and putting them to use for the first time to make our very own website. We are also proud that our program/website is practical for everyday use.

What we learned

We learned how to make our own website!

What's next for StudyStreak

We will implement a weekly leaderboard, more ways to earn points, personalized timers for study breaks, and more visuals.
