Inspiration
So you know when watching something and you see someone wearing an interesting sweater or pair of shoes? My first thought is always, "I need that, where can I buy it?" I got the idea for Style Seeker from that feeling. I wanted to build a simple tool that could take any picture of an outfit and just give me a link to buy it. Something that felt like magic: you see it, you snap a picture, and you can shop for it right away.
What it does
It takes a photo and analyzes it to find different clothing components using the Google Cloud Vision API then uses the Google Cloud custom search API to find copies of these clothes on prominent ecommerce websites like Ebay and Amazon, then displays it for the user so that they can go to the website and buy it.
