Inspiration

I saw an ad for the reddit hackathon, and thought it'd be fun to get involved. I'm experienced with building on the web and figured I could build something fun!

What it does

Subdle is a daily game inspired by Wordle, where users have to guess which subreddit is being shown in as few posts as possible.

How we built it

Using the devvit react starter, with react-query for data fetching management, and Tailwind for styles.

Challenges we ran into

Determining how "close" a guess is to the real answer is no small feat! Otherwise things went fairly smoothly :)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm quite proud of the UX of the app!

What we learned

Learned a lot about the reddit API!
