Inspiration
Urban Flooding is the inspiration behind our project.
What it does
Using turbidity wireless sensors, our website, SUDOL, collects data and processes the same to send out notification alerts(indicating high turbidity level due to intoxication via sewage waste) of illegal connections to the storm water drainage to government authorities. Also, provision is made to register complaints and book appointments for garbage collection.
How we built it
We developed a website called Sudol to manage all these services using html,css, javascript
Challenges we ran into
Majorly time issues, since the idea has been thought of in totality. We've tried to gather the essence of the idea in as much time provided
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of the final outcome of this project. And it feels like a cherry on the top that we have made something that will help India in its development.
What we learned
We researched a lot about the drainage system and sewers. Additionally, we touched the surface of IoT technology through which we wish to take our project forward.
What's next for Sudol
Sudol would turn out to be a national scale project, curbing all illegal activities and corruption amongst the municipal corporations of each state. We will connect our front end code to the backend resources to demonstrate the hardware implication
