Inspiration
We got the inspiration for this project as we saw that there is a gap between the service providers in rural and suburban areas. As all service providers mainly focus on metropolitan cities only. We wanted to create something out of the box so that's what inspired us to build Sukoon.
What it does
Sukoon is basically a platform for the local vendors in that particular area to connect with the customers who require their services. The customer can log in to the portal and select any of the services which we offer, then they can book one at their desired time and date. Whereas, on the other hand, the local service providers can log in to a different portal and can connect with the customer to provide the required service.
How we built it
The front end of the website was built using React Framework and the back end was built using Firebase.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into the following challenges: - • Inappropriate device errors. • Optimization of our website with the competitors. • Connecting with the local vendors. • Reaching out to people with Sukoon. • Revenue per service charges. • Expanding from suburban to urban areas. • Lack of awareness about the technology.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We build our idea from scratch and some of us had the knowledge of what we are doing but during this hack, we came up with our indomitable nature and worked out everything.
What we learned
We learned a lot while we were working on this project from the technical skills of every individual to the teamwork as a whole, and how we overcame all the different hurdles we faced during this project.
What's next for Sukoon
Creating a portal for the local vendors where they can log in and earn more with their daily bread and butter and we look forward to spreading the awareness of Sukoon to every neighbourhood.
