Inspiration

Thinking about issues healthcare patients face especially when they don't have proper access to people that have a good command in healthcare can be challenging and serious especially when faced with situations such as post surgery care.

What it does

Help patients to take have a better healthcare experience by summarizing their doctors documentation.

How we built it

python code, google vision, and webpage

Challenges we ran into

debugging was a big challenge and to get everything to run relatively smoothly

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we were able to get a good idea and start working on it within a day

What we learned

we learnt there are a lot of issues out there and we can actually do something about it now and soon rather than wait for a better time and day to start working on something for the greater good.

What's next for sumdoc

we are thinking of incorporating speech summary so that you can get a summary of your conversation with your doctors and also improve the quality of summary, like training it more on medical data, or being able to change the summary length and more.
