Sweepstack

Inspiration

UTXO bloat is a hot topic recently. "Spammers" aren't going away anytime soon, so it's hard to prevent further bloating... but why not incentivize shrinking? Enter Sweepstack, a service allowing people to consolidate their old UTXOs into a single Taproot output with a sponsor paying the miner fees.

As we all know, P2TR outputs are magically more secure than any other type of output, making this a perfect fit for the bitcoin++ hackathon.

What it does

Allows a user to connect a browser wallet, select various UTXOs, then sign a PSBT consolidating those outputs into a single P2TR output with a sponsor paying the fees for them.

1. Navigate to a website
2. Click 'connect wallet'
3. Select UTXOs
4. Sign a PSBT
5. Transaction fees paid by sponsor
