Inspiration
We were inspired to create this project because one of our teammates family members often isn't able to pickup their prescriptions when it's needed. Although they could rely on family members to pick it up for them, many don't have that luxury. This issue drove us to build SwiftRX!
What it does
Using Base and Circle we created a Web3 solution that integrates patients to their doctors and local pharmacy with ease. They are able to create a medical passport, manage prescriptions, and pay with crypto all on-chain.
How we built it
We built three different interfaces for each user (Doctor, Patient, and Pharmacy). The patient interface used React-Native, while the other two used React. Our backend logic was mostly managed on-chain with Base's toolkit to send payments, NFT passports, and other logic between the interfaces.
Challenges we ran into
We had the most trouble connecting the interfaces together, but were able to figure it out and even adapt to different chains with CCTP.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our top three are building multiple frontends, integrating them to one another, and the number of on-chain features provided.
What we learned
It's best to focus on one or two core features and build from there once fully polished.
What's next for SwiftRX
Continue to polish the existing features and improve cross-chain support.
