Inspiration: We are college students and sometimes we need to read big reports. We made this tool to help students and others understand them easily.

What it does: TarkAI reads a company’s annual report (PDF) and finds important parts like risk, money, and plans. Then it explains them in simple and easy words using AI.

How we built it: We used Python and Streamlit to build the website. We also used GitHub for working together and the backend uses Python to process the PDF and talk with AI.

Challenges we ran into: It was hard to make the UI look perfect and clean. Also, two of the teammates didn’t know how to use GitHub well, so we learned by watching YouTube videos.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are proud that our UI looks really nice now. Everything works smoothly and looks professional.

What we learned: We learned how to use GitHub and Streamlit for teamwork and building fast. We also learned how to manage time better and finish tasks on time.

What's next for TarkAI: Next, we will finish the backend part that reads more parts of the report. We also want to make it smarter so it can answer more detailed questions.
