Goal: cohabitation / organizational app / task splitting ideal target: 18 - 35 year olds, college students, student organizations
This app really strikes at the core of a problem that we face everyday in our respective homes as well as student organizations. Event planning is always very difficult because in larger groups, the bystander effect gets introduced and people start to cruise through at the expense of others. By introducing transparency to induce accountability, our app really targets to eliminate this factor in many scenarios.
Scenario 1: Organizational events (fundraising, parties, speakers, general risk management for events ) - pay off = day of event, running things more smoothly and keeping everyone on the same page
Scenario 2: Household task splitting and efficient delegation payoff: Easy to access list of what everyone needs and what chores need to be done so splitting can be done easily and effortlessly.
Scenario 3: Simplified modes (GAME DAY MODE) for running events (boards start as event planning boards, and on day of, changes to a streamlined event management board).
Overhead analytics for transparency in participation in every scenario.
Difference from current apps - typically one person leads conversations and drives progress but there will always be people who don’t respond and try to cruise through. This application will give the leader the power to delegate tasks to these people and everything is transparent to improve accountability.
