Inspiration

  • We took inspiration from Forest App, and Hank Green's Focus Friend. They are both productivity apps that are useful, but lack in different aspects. We like the gamified idea of producitvity apps, but it's difficult for them to keep players.

What it does

  • Instead, our app is gives players tasks to complete, based on what settings they select. By completing contracts, we can use the coins earned from completion of these tasks and gamble them away against other players. Hopefully, this solves user retention and keeps players wanting more. (Positive reinforcement)

What's next for TaskTamer

  • Adding more social features e.g. playing games against other players
