Team Dalan

Inspiration

We are from Washington, and forest fires and smoke are a common problem. A website that helps one easily track if the air they are breathing is safe is incredibly useful and also informative.

What it does

The user inputs an address and gets the air quality data conveyed on an easy-to-read map.

How we built it

We used Nuxt 2 and Vue and a frontend framework.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the map to load addresses required a lot of reconfiguring and careful planning.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It works! The map is simple and easy to read.

What we learned

How to use Nuxt 2 with Vue, including HTML, CSS, and Typescript. We also used Axios.

What's next for Team Dalan

Hopefully more projects like this, but better!
