Inspiration

Our teammate had to take his medication, which sparked the idea of a pill tracker.

What it does

Our app allows a user to input prescribed pills they take, on assigned days, and it will keep track of when the user needs to take the medication, and how much money they are spending on medication per week.

How we built it

We used PySimpleGUI to build the GUI of our program, and HTML5 to create a sample website that we unfortunately couldn't implement in time.

Challenges we ran into

None of us had experience building GUIs, so it took a bit of learning. Personally, I had never used HTML, so trying to figure out the web page was a huge headache but it actually looked pretty decent in the end.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

I'm proud of the web page that we unfortunately didn't end up implementing, and we are all proud of the program that we put together for this pill tracker.

What we learned

We learned a lot about GUI building, and I learned a lot about HTML5.

What's next for Pharm Tracker

We want to include set times for taking pills, and have it sync with phone numbers to send call/text reminders, we just didn't have enough time to set it up.
