What it does
This project connects sufferers of depression to valuable resources which can help them greatly. It also connects them to real people, like doctors and other patients.
How we built it
We built the chatroom using Firebase, and built the rest of the website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges we ran into involved the creation of the chatroom, but after a bit of trial and error we were able to get it working.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of how the website turned out, and we believe it can help sufferers of depression all over the world.
What we learned
During the creation of this website, we learned a lot about how to use Firebase. This was a new concept to us, and creating something that worked well was very motivating for us.
What's next for Telemental
In the future, we hope to involve more real doctors / consultants to be active in the chatroom, helping anyone who requires it.
