Inspiration

We we're inspired by the growth of AI-text based models and how they're able to communicate or take in data and respond with what information was put into it, so we decided to attempt to create one of our own!

What it does

It's supposed to be able to understand or recognize what mental health symptoms the user has based on it's input and recommend ways into how the user can cope or what type of help it should receive.

How we built it

We attempted using solely python with both a flask and and openAI.

Challenges we ran into

We realized along the way that we we're supposed to use JS to communicate the backend and not just solely rely on python which is why it's incomplete as of now.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We learned a lot from the mentors part of INIT, despite not being able to finish. It was honestly such a fun experience being able to attend the workshops and adjust as we go!

What we learned

Overall, to not just rely on one language or maybe try a more suitable project that was based on our skill level, but I don't regret that since now we can continue implementing the changes and building Theodore to see what he becomes!

What's next for Therapy Theodore

The next step is to flush him out work on making him functional and have more data to feed from to be able to interact with users better!
