Inspiration

I see this hackhaton 1 day ago. I get inspired very extremly. I think what can i do and this is the project that i think first. So i want to make sth. different in past i think like neighborhood assistance and solidarity program but when i make a short research i see that many programs like that so i have to make a basic and effective also different thing. I have 2 days so i have to use it very carefully. And also this is my second project in flutter in past ı use c++ only. My other project is an medicine follow-up program.

What it does

This is a program that solves the meaning under the hour and minute sychronus with real life. Basicly a human starts when he bored and see many different, funny, pratical and extremly not boring informations under it. In my head I make an occupation mode like if he/she is doctor this gives the infos about biology or medicine with the time value but my time is limited i never minded this. I also want to make basic and chic UI. I select a royal color palette and basic google like textbox also with an moon image. This is in short a basic very entertaining and engaging program that offers insights into the time and provides information accordingly, and is a great way to pass the time or just say wow with friends. For example if real time is 21:03 it speaks about its meaning in psychology, sports, biology, encryption, economics etc. and jokes about it. Its per time for a sentence is calculated for real humans average attention span and reading time.(nearly 5scnd) its fast as possible and very unfamiliar idea. I research about it but not any similar idea made.

How I built it

First I watch some flutter course videos from "domestika" s flutter course I get some extra new informations to do that. I only use my main.dart file and i make it the simplest, shortest and most functional possibleand its basic logic is that code creates a dynamic interface displaying a digital clock that updates every second along with predefined messages tied to each hour and minute combination loaded from a JSON file assets/messages.json. Inside the LandingPage stateful widget, the app reads these messages, then continuously fetches the current time, formats it, and selects the appropriate message based on the current hour and minute, updating the UI accordingly. The background is black with a softly transparent moon image positioned in the top-right corner, while the main content app title, current time, and message is presented in stylish fonts with shadows and colors for visual appeal. Essentially, the code’s core function is to track real time and display contextually relevant messages to the user in a clean, elegant layout. Challenges I ran into

Its my second project ever so my my treasure of knowledge is poor so i have to look to google always to which or where i use sth. I nearly in this project like 48 hours and i actively code like 35-40 hours but in this time i always be in struggle with errors like 10 hours. This is because of my laptops quality its very old and all system features and hardware is bad.(200gb:( also) in other hand ı fight with the pratice code of getting sentence to ui its very exciting to see in my screen the sentences but its very laborious.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Im proud of everything i do i find here to show my friend hackhatons are not that difficult and trash thing.(ı want to make a project with him for a biggest local competition Teknofest Turkey). this is very exciting period that ı never forget ı want to be a biological-proggraming mixed job in future also ım interested in mobile development from my childhood(ı always try but my sistem fails in ue5). Without getting dramatic in short im happy with what i done

What I learned

Flutter is not that hard many various things and detailed control in vscode and dart you cant make the database manually its hard and boring :(

What's next for TimeDecode

I try another and research all of them i dont sign what i see first.
