Inspiration
There are artistic renditions of tinnitus to be found online, yet there doesn't seem to be an easy way to make them on an individual / personal level.
What it does
This desktop app will help people with tinnitus to recreate what they hear during their daily lives.
How we built it
We used Java wit its built-in GUI library and sound library.
Challenges we ran into
As is usual for online hackathons, we struggled to arrange time to fit each other's schedules. In addition, we had to work with each other's strengths.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The app has multiple pages and can connect to a MySQL database.
What we learned
We learned a lot about teamwork and Java.
What's next for Tinnitus Application
We hope to expand it and make it useful for end-users.
