As a team, we decided that we all wanted to try mobile apps for the first time. We wanted to create a web based mobile application with which the user can find the closest concert to their location and receive notifications for pre-sale ticket events. When the user clicks the concert/artist they are interested in, they will be given information on the date of the pre-sale of the tickets for that concert based on how close they are, as well as the time and date of the concert [later will add Favorited artist features and Popular artists in area feature]. Some key features that we have succeeded with this app was the user interface where it can show the concerts that will be playing close to the user and link them to a place on the web where the tickets will be pre sold. The target user is mostly UCI students but we were hoping to expand to everyone in the USA. We were hoping to release this app out for free optimizing and reducing the time needed to look for this kind of information. By the end of the hackathon, we were still having issues with our Pre-Sale ticket notification component, so that feature is still incomplete and we hope to work on it in the future.
