Inspiration

This idea is because the tokenization of real projects is very easy. Still, we need to own the project or get explicit approval from them, to give investors confidence that we can tokenize and raise capital for the project.

What it does

EmiCerti allows you to tokenize "green" projects (through the Hedera network) and sell them through an open crowdfunding process with Blockchain technology. When creating a project, a "contract document" is issued and sent to the project owner, who must digitally sign it (with HelloSign) to enable it on the platform and access to any investor for raising capital by buying tokens.

How we built it

EmiCerti is built as a Web app with .NET Core (C#), with libraries to work with HelloSign for signing generated pdf documents and Hedera in the tokenization process in Blockchain.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to find an opportunity to integrate Web 3.0 (Blockchain) with a fundamental technology for trust in Web 2.0 such as HelloSign.

What we learned

I learned a lot about the HelloSign process and the benefits it can bring to projects for Web 3.0 and Blockchain because it is an essential complement to giving trust as a notarial process.

What's next for EmiCerti

As an entrepreneur, many companies have asked me to create a product of this style to raise capital, and although I already have that part ready, I was missing a fundamental part, and that is to have the authorization to tokenize on their behalf, and HelloSign is the missing piece to put together a real product, which I hope to have formally published and enabled at the beginning of 2023.
