Inspiration

I saw the need (Discord seamless translation), and I made it! Introducing Translatable!

What it does

It automatically translates incoming messages that aren't English and translated them! Users can also reply to these translations to automatically translate their reply in the other language

How we built it

We built it with Python and JavaScript, Python for the Translations and Language Detections and JavaScript for managing everything and running the bot

Challenges we ran into

Mainly how the languages talk to each other, Some characters like Arabic Characters didn't work with our method but we figured it out and it all works now!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The Bot flawlessly running without any errors/bugs

What we learned

We definitely learnt how fun it can be to use two languages and how to allow them to communicate with each other properly

What's next for Translatable

I feel like it reached a stage where its already perfect, We could definitely work on the API, detections. and more which adds up to a better user experience.
