Inspiration

Life is busy enough, transportation should be simple. We created an AI solution to optimize public transportation systems, enhance efficiency, improving reliability for a seamless commuter experience

What it does

TTCare uses AI to gather TTC vehicle data, predict vehicle failures, detect machine anomalies, and automate the scheduling of train repairs and rerouting.

Challenges we ran into

With our lack of background on the TTC maintenance system and vehicle structures, it was difficult to understand fully what metrics are necessary to make sure our product was optimal for our goal. In order to solve this in the future, we hope to talk with TTC engineers directly to know our stakeholders' needs even further. We also had to learn the ethics matrix more formally and how this can be translated in our project.

What's next for TTCare

• Gather TTC worker feedback on work optimization
• Expand to optimization of construction & planning
• Include other components such as weather related delays, etc.
• Expand beyond TTC!
