UBC Events

Students at UBC, like ourselves, struggle to find relevant events and opportunities that are clearly and reliably available. The cause? Event information is scattered across websites, Instagram pages, email newsletters, and random posters, making it easy to miss deadlines or lose track of valuable opportunities. Our website aims to address this issue by creating a centralized platform that consolidates UBC events into one organized, easy-to-understand, and personalized hub. The platform displays the events in a clean, consistent format. Moreover, our project features an integrated recommendation system that personalizes suggestions based on the user’s faculty, experience, and interests, such as AI, sustainability, design, business, social impact, and more. Our mission is to make it easier for students to find opportunities, get involved in the community, and grow their skills and resume without stress or confusion.
