The original concept for this app was to improve Boston College's Class Registration system, UIS, by providing a platform for students to preregister for classes and to use that data to inform students as to whether that class is projected to be full by the time they register.
As of now, the project generates mock student and class data in order to work, but eventually we'd like to implement Firebase to store student data and to use a scraping algorithm to get real class data from Boston College's online Portal.
Other potential add-ons include using the student's data from the app to register for them once it's their pick time, displaying current degree audits, and recommending classes for students based on their major.
Also it doesn't work.
