Inspiration
Childhood memories from playing these types of games with classmates in gym class, but after the covid 19 lockdown, we became too old.
What it does
It is a fun singleplayer tag game against computers with timed round.
How we built it
we built it with pygame on vscode
Challenges we ran into
some challenges that we ran to include game crashing everytime we tried to test it, the npcs in our game doing random jittering motion, and the functioning of buttons.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to organized my ideas and plan out the time to finish each phase of our project. we are able to use time efficiently and finish our project before the deadline. Most importantly, we had great fun while learning.
What we learned
We learnt how to make buttons and classes. We tried to incorporate servers. Even though we did not at the end due to time provided to learn such a mass topic from scratch, we learned a lot about it.
What's next for Ultimate Tag
Our plans for ultimate tag is to increase the map size, make the UI more intuitive and aesthetically pleasing, implement special abilities (eg, invisibility, speed boost, incrased tag range etc) and implementing multiplayer functions.
