Inspiration
We're all from different school/Universities and different countries and we realised that we all have music clubs that help people to pay music together and form bands that play for different events and for fun! We thought that promoting theses band and allowing them to register online and show the world what they made would be awesome!
What it does
It's a website where you can register you music band, search for specific bands and listen to their music.
How we built it
We built it using Figma to design the logo and the different pages. We coded everything in HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript and deploy it using Firebase.
Challenges we ran into
We had a lot of trouble communicating at first because we're from different countries and the beginner Hackers was lost, eventually one of us took the lead and managed the project. We also had some challenge using Firebase since it was our first time using it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud to have deployed our website using Firebase and to have been able to submit our UniBand Project for this Hack At Home II, this is the first Hackathon for some of us and they'll remember it and learn a lot from it!
What we learned
We learned how to use Firebase, how to work in a team with people form different places (France/India/Thailand), new Hackers learned how an Hackathon works and they loved it!
What's next for UniBand
UniBand will be improved, we want to implement some Youtube/Spotify players and we want to improve some designs and the band registration to give users a better experience using our website.
