Inspiration

We wanted to speed up the note taking process with our website.

What it does

Converts an audio file/ live lecture into Cornell Style notes, complete with main points, details, and a summary.

How we built it

HTML, CSS, JS, and ChatGPT. Javascript was key to the speech to text engine, and ChatGPT was utilized in our summarizing.

Challenges we ran into

We had difficulty with the speech to text machine, and the AI embed. Our audio and speech to text were also incompatible in a single browser.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our innovation, ideas, improvisation, and graphic design.

What we learned

We learned about researching code through tutorials on YouTube, and more about JavaScript. We also learned teamwork.

What's next for UniCornell

Vast improvements, including speech to text accuracy, audio and text engine compatibility, adding more features to our speech to text engine, and better integrating the Chatbot.
