Inspiration

Often buying directly from a manufacturer is cheaper than buying from somewhere like Amazon. I wanted an app that could track prices across different websites so you can impulse purchase once you see the price drop.

What it does

Add items to your wishlist and get updates on price updates.

How we built it

Uses changedetection.io to track prices and page changes and updates the frontend using their API key.

Challenges we ran into

I was going to replicate changedetection.io, but it just does such a good job and would be a janky setup if I tried to replicate it.
