We aim to create a project that helps increase your WAM throughout uni. It does so through 2 methods; Assigning you easy WAM-boosting electives and spreading out difficult courses throughout the terms, thus preventing you from doing them simultaneously. Our inspiration came from hearing student complaints that they were doing 3 difficult subjects a term because they registered for a difficult course they had no previous knowledge about.
Our Hackathon group ran into many difficulties, primarily a distinct lack of team communication. There was no direction for most of the design process, halting our progress until the very last minute. Moreover, not everybody in our group could code the program, due to not having done COMP 1531, prioritising assignments, etc. Furthermore, we realised we could not gather the data required for our project.
Overall, despite the innumerable setbacks and the lack of a final project, we have established an albeit ambitious vision that we would love to see executed.
