UTD Study

Inspiration

There are many things that can guide an individual to a happy and stress-free life. Skills and activities such as time management, self care, planning and preparing, and setting clear goals can set up one’s path to a successful and happy life. However, a really critical source of stress for college students is excelling in academics.

What it does

Our app, UTD Study, allows students of the University of Texas at Dallas find study groups/session of their choice with ease.

How we built it

UTD Study was created using Figma, an online UI design tool, and bravo which connects real data to API's and allows any apps created to be a mock-up app.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the challenges we faced were trying to figure out which UI tools to use and would best suit our needs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to create a functioning design in order to tackle one of the problems we, as college students, see in our day to day life.

What we learned

We learned how to delegate and effectively use our time in order to accomplish certain tasks that were given and produce a high quality product.

What's next for UTD Study

In the future, we hope to integrate UTD study with a merged calendar for all members to send their availability for easy scheduling. In addition, online options such as video call or phone call could be implemented. Lastly, we hope to expand UTD Study to other various colleges once fully developed.
