What it does

VanOS is a three-way marketplace connecting organizers with event spaces and sponsors.

How we built it

We conducted interviews with SMEs to determine the biggest issues facing the Vancouver Tech Community - Capital and Silos/Support Infrastructure.

We decided to tackle the Silos/Support Infrastructure challenge by taking a decentralized lens to event organization, enabling anyone to become an organizer and helping organizers create connections with event spaces and sponsors.

Challenges we ran into

We can't build everything in the limited time, we had to prioritize our features and determine which ones will provide the most value.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We worked together to build a functional prototype of our initial solution and each team member was able to explore different avenues to help build the solution from systems design, BE, FE, Figma design and Figma Prototyping.
