I wanted to bring mobile-first experience of Synthetix.Exchange to ordinary people
What it does
The application allows seamlessly gain Synth exposure for regular users not familiar with technical stuff.
How I built it
The app incorporate Uniswap exchange under the hood and converts ETH to sUSD. It also features fiat on ramp with Wyre widget. Exchanges between different synths are made on the main screen of the app with balances displayed to a user.
Challenges I ran into
Integration of different components in one app and integration of fiat on ramp with all it veryfications and registration even for a test environment.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
MVP in just 2 days.
What I learned
Fiat on ramp is the most difficult part of building decentralized applications and it should be avoided at all costs.
What's next for Vaultex
Receiving feedback from stakeholders and understanding product-market fit. Moving from MVP to a solid product with required security and fallback mechanisms. Bringing the product to the market.
