Inspiration
VR training has changed the past, present and will change the future on how we learn and the way we design learning for the better, by transforming the learning experiences since its inception and will likely continue to do so for years to come.
In a usual eLearning environment, learners look at images/text, interact via clicks, drag-and-drop or input text. VR, on the other hand, gives a far more immersive experience of the content and allow learners to interact with the resources in a virtual environment, and this intensifies the engagement and, hence, the motivation to learn the skills of the future.
Report Consultants forecasts the Global E-Learning Virtual Reality market will grow to US$ +340 billion in 2026.
What it does
https://leoaiassistant.github.io/vieven/
With React 360 we allow the users to multi-train simultaneously in our Virtual Reality platform, and enable new E-learning experiences for the skills of the future such as: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, E-commerce, Machine Learning & Robotics, through:
-Virtual reality classrooms that change the landscape of distance education. Rather than discuss course content on asynchronous discussion boards or receive emails from an instructor, the class can meet in a personalised virtual space.
-When classes begins, students can put on their VR headsets or via our web app, and connect to their virtual reality classroom where they can find and interact with multiples trainings in real time.
How we built it
We create elements and surfaces on the React 360 platform, that allow the platform show multiple trainings in different topics in real time. With the periscope vision we allow the users to access multiple courses or trainings they can be interested in.
Challenges we ran into
-Highly consumption of internet data from the user.
-Large amount of time in rendering process of videos and images.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
LIVE PLATFORM (Try it): https://leoaiassistant.github.io/vieven/
What we learned
-VR has vastly expanded the possibility of how we train workers.
-VR trainings improved overall performance (i.e. learning, including knowledge acquisition and understanding) compared to persons trained in traditional conditions.
-Virtual Reality disrupting potential in the E-learning & Ed-Tech industry.
