Inspiration

We were inspired to create this COVID-19 dashboard to provide a user-friendly way for people to visualize and understand the impact of the pandemic in India. We wanted to create a tool that would allow users to explore COVID-19 data in a way that is both informative and engaging.

What it does

The Visualytics dashboard allows users to select a state or Union Territory in India and view various metrics and visualizations related to COVID-19 data. The dashboard includes a donut chart illustrating COVID-19 data for the selected state/UT, as well as customizable line charts, bar charts, scatter plots, and pie charts

How we built it

We built the Visualytics dashboard using Streamlit, a powerful tool for creating web applications for machine learning and data science. We used pandas and plotly to load and visualize the COVID-19 data, and we used CSS to style the dashboard and make it responsive.

Challenges we ran into

We were struggling to find a nice database/dataset to work on luckily Kaggle came to the rescue

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Making it

What we learned

We learned a lot about working with Streamlit, pandas, and plotly. We also learned a lot about how to create a user-friendly interface that allows users to explore data in a meaningful way.
