Inspiration

Compound Finance and Defi Lending + Borrowing works. Also heavily influenced by Pool based design in Defi protocol to make trade continuous.

What it does

WayneFi is a lending protocol native to the Cosmos ecosystem. --> Lend + Borrow tokens --> Algorithmically set Interest rates --> Cosmos compatible so can work with IBC and trade between different blockchain seamlessly

How we built it

--> Cosmos sdk Starport + vuejs. Had to learn proto buff + grpc, design flow of cosmos sdk from messages to keepers to handlers and more

Challenges we ran into

Figuring out the Cosmos SDK, Go, and Vue. Time Management. We pivoted ideas too much at the beginning. --> Connecting the blockchain to the frontend

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of learning the Cosmos SDK and effectively utilizing it to build a functional lending protocol.

What's next for Wayne Finance

NFT collateral - We want to allow users to put up NFTs for collateral and liquidate the NFTs by mapping through existing NFT marketplaces in the Cosmos ecosystem. --> Support IBC token --> Can earn reward, pay fees in different tokens that's not floor tokens --> Superfluid lending
