Inspiration

The concept for this app emerged from observing a prevalent issue: many individuals frequently exceed their income due to impulsive spending. This app aims to empower users by helping them find cheaper alternatives for everyday products, thereby promoting smarter spending habits.

What It Does

The app functions as a price comparison tool, scraping data from various e-commerce websites. When a user searches for a specific item, the app compiles a list of similar products available at lower prices, complete with direct purchase links. This seamless integration allows users to make informed decisions and save money effortlessly.

Challenges We Ran Into

We faced several challenges during development, including:

• Data Acquisition: Effectively scraping accurate and up-to-date information from multiple websites, which required overcoming technical hurdles related to web scraping protocols and data formats.
